Module 1 NIST Essentials

This NIST Essentials module is designed to provide profound knowledge and practical insights in NIST standards and guidelines. Covering key topics such as NIST SP 800-171 R2 requirements, participants will be able to have expertise in implementing and assessing security controls to protect Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). The module also goes into NIST SP 800-171A assessment procedures, enabling learners to conduct thorough assessments and audits.

Module 2 Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI)

The Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) module offers a comprehensive exploration of essential concepts and practices for dealing with CUI. Participants will gain a deep understanding of CUI categories and marking protocols, ensuring its proper identification and protection. This module also defines the designation, handling, and decontrolling processes for CUI, enabling learners to navigate the lifecycle of CUI effectively.

Module 3 CUI Configuration Management (Part I)

Engage in this extensive module on establishing and maintaining secure system configurations. Participants will dive into key topics such as baseline configurations, enabling them to define a secure starting point for system configurations. This module includes configuration settings and security parameters, equipping learners with the knowledge to customize system configurations based on organizational requirements.

Module 4 CUI Configuration Management (Part II)

Discover the crucial aspects involved in securing CUI. Participants will gain the necessary expertise in conducting security impact analysis, assessing the potential risks and impacts of configuration changes on CUI. This module covers access restrictions, equipping learners with the knowledge to implement appropriate access controls to safeguard CUI.

PECB Micro-learning Courses: These are typically short, bite-sized lessons designed to deliver specific, focused content. Micro-learning breaks down larger topics into smaller modules, often with a duration of a few minutes to around 15 minutes per module. Learners can consume these modules at their own pace, and the content is usually delivered through various formats like videos, interactive quizzes, or infographics.

Modules: –Consists of 4 capsules + 1 practice quiz

• Practice quiz is optional
• One can obtain the Attestation with 1 CPD without the quiz

Competency Essentials Certificate:

• Consists of 4 modules + 1 final quiz
• Certificate with ANAB logo

Total Learning Duration: 4 Hours: Each Competency has 4 Modules, and 1 Module has 4 capsules of 15-minute content (video, reading material, etc.).
